By the way, my name's not JOY - it's Nic.
I find so much joy in food, and in sharing it – so that’s how the working title for the brand has stuck. In fact, I’m actually a bit of a food evangelist – sharing recipes and tips with friends and colleagues, but also in learning first hand through my own intolerances how food can effect our bodies.
I’ve become increasingly aware of how food production impacts our environment, and in shopping for a family, each shop I felt horrified at the amount of plastic waste, despite best efforts. Change won’t happen overnight, but it needs to happen as quickly as possible and that’s where JOY will contribute to family life in making this easy, and to the bigger picture in making a positive impact.
